Mar Orthodontics is proud to offer proactive Stage 1 treatment for kids. Early orthodontic treatment for kids seven to twelve years of age will help to ensure your child’s oral health and self-confidence. Orthodontic problems can aversely affect speech and nutrition, cause facial disfigurement, impair self-esteem and increase risk for impacted teeth, cavities and gum infections.
Orthodontic treatment in Stage 1 (early childhood) minimizes issues that could require more invasive dental treatment or surgery, and shortens treatment times in Stage 2 (adolescence).
If you’re concerned about your child’s crooked teeth, jaw growth or misaligned bite, or if your family dentist has encouraged you to speak with an orthodontist about orthodontic treatment, Mar Orthodontics is happy to help.
To be proactive book an exam at an early age so that our orthodontists can you guide you in the right direction in terms of treatment options and a treatment plan. At Mar Orthodontics we follow children every four to six months to ensure treatment intervention occurs at the most appropriate time.
